Job Description

Valet Living is a leading service provider specializing in residential waste and recycling collection for apartment communities across various districts. Known for its commitment to exceptional customer service and operational excellence, Valet Living has established itself as a trusted partner for property management companies seeking reliable and efficient service solutions. The company operates with a core focus on safety, quality, and resident satisfaction, continually striving to set industry standards through innovative practices and dedicated teams. As a service-oriented business, Valet Living places high importance on teamwork, accountability, and leadership development within its workforce, making it an ideal environment for professionals eager to grow their careers in service management and logistics.

The role of Lead Service Valet is integral to maintaining the quality and consistency of service delivery within assigned apartment communities. Reporting directly to the District Manager, the Lead Service Valet plays a key leadership role in managing part-time associates, known as Service Valets, ensuring they uphold the company's commitment to the "every door every night" business expectation. This role blends hands-on operational duties with supervisory responsibilities, emphasizing safety, productivity, and customer delight. The position offers a competitive pay rate of $20.00 per hour, along with a mileage reimbursement program, supporting associates in meeting their transportation needs as they navigate multiple properties throughout their shift.

Scheduled from Sunday to Thursday, the Lead Service Valet will be responsible for directing daily service operations, including training new associates, performing quality control spot checks focused on safety and performance standards, and addressing any service delays or property issues proactively with the District Manager. Additionally, this role requires the Lead Service Valet to provide oversight during District Manager absences and ensure that the collection process is seamless even in their absence. The role demands flexibility, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and residents alike.

Beyond operational management, the Lead Service Valet will participate in recruiting efforts, assisting with candidate presentations and providing realistic job previews to prospective associates. This role is vital in fostering a positive, safety-first culture and motivating part-time staff to perform at their best. The job naturally requires physical activity, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and endurance to work outdoors under varying weather conditions, which speaks to the active and dynamic nature of the position.

Overall, individuals who thrive as Lead Service Valets will find a rewarding career path that balances leadership opportunities with hands-on service responsibilities. Valet Living’s emphasis on diversity, equal opportunity, and comprehensive associate support makes this position a compelling choice for dedicated professionals ready to contribute to and grow with a progressive, service-focused company.
