Job Description

The Grove at Trelago is a distinguished dining establishment dedicated to providing exceptional culinary experiences within a vibrant and engaging environment. Known for its attention to detail and excellence in operations, this restaurant is perfectly situated within a community-focused setting where residents' satisfaction and comfort are paramount. The Grove at Trelago is currently seeking a passionate and skilled Lead Server to join their culinary team and elevate the overall dining experience. This role is particularly significant as it bridges the gap between kitchen operations and front-of-the-house service, ensuring smooth communication and superior customer care.

As a Lead Server, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in motivating and guiding the service staff to uphold high standards of hospitality. The position requires excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and a customer-centric mindset to foster a rewarding environment for both team members and residents. The role encompasses various responsibilities, including staff training, recruitment, and development programs, which are crucial for maintaining a dedicated and proficient team. The Lead Server is also responsible for overseeing daily dining room operations, ensuring proper employee dress codes, and managing shift schedules for front-of-the-house team members.

Operating hours for this role are scheduled from 11am to 7pm, inclusive of weekends and holidays, highlighting the need for a flexible and committed professional. Additionally, the Lead Server will interact directly with residents, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, managing reservations, and providing tours to prospective residents, thereby establishing a personal and approachable rapport with the community. The position requires adherence to local health and safety regulations as well as company policies, underscoring the importance of compliance and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a lead server or in a similar high-volume hospitality role, combined with experience in customer service training. Management experience within the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential, reflecting the need for leadership and operational oversight. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a respected establishment that values quality, teamwork, and resident satisfaction. The Lead Server position is perfect for individuals driven by a passion for hospitality and excellence in service who thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
