Job Description

Trilogy Lake Norman is a distinguished resort community located in the picturesque Huntersville area near Charlotte, North Carolina. Known for its immersive outdoor lifestyle and vibrant community, Trilogy Lake Norman offers residents and guests a unique blend of recreation, relaxation, and luxury amenities. The centerpiece of this active community is the Twin Mills Club, which is thoughtfully designed with the outdoors in mind. The club boasts a variety of facilities including indoor and outdoor pools, The Outfitter—a well-equipped space with kayaks, bikes, and other outdoor gear—as well as pickleball and tennis courts. Additionally, members have access to a fleet of boats at nearby Lake Norman, enhancing the overall experience for outdoor enthusiasts. The Twin Mills Club also features The Foundry, the main restaurant, and an Event Center that welcomes both residents and the public for dining reservations and private events alike.

This full-time Lead Server position is an integral role within Trilogy Lake Norman's Food and Beverage team, reporting directly to the Food and Beverage Manager. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $19 per hour and comes with comprehensive benefits designed to support the well-being and growth of team members. Full-time team members working 30 hours or more weekly are eligible for medical, dental, and life insurance plans starting the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Additionally, employees can accrue Paid Time Off at a rate of 120 hours annually, receive 7 paid holidays per year, and participate in a 401(k) retirement plan after 30 days of service.

The Lead Server role at Trilogy Lake Norman is more than just serving food and beverages; it is about creating memorable dining experiences through exceptional hospitality and leadership. Lead Servers are expected to be energetic, friendly, and knowledgeable about the resort's dining facilities and services, ensuring guests receive personalized and attentive service from start to finish. The role includes greeting and serving guests, accurately taking and communicating orders, managing transactions, and maintaining service standards in accordance with company policies. Leadership responsibilities include providing direction to other servers, assisting with training in service etiquette and facility procedures, and overseeing shift timings and employee sign-outs when directed by management.

Beyond operational duties, the ideal candidate will embody Trilogy Lake Norman's BlueStar core values—honesty and integrity, respect for the individual, teamwork, and competitive spirit. These values foster a work culture that is collaborative, ethical, and focused on excellence. The Lead Server must be adaptable, able to work under pressure, and proficient in multitasking while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.

This role also demands compliance with state and federal regulations regarding alcohol service, requiring valid Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification. The physical aspects of the job are dynamic, involving long periods of standing and walking, carrying items up to 20 pounds, and the ability to work day or night shifts, including weekends. The work environment varies between indoor restaurant settings, outdoor patios, and event venues, sometimes involving exposure to weather conditions and outdoor elements.

Trilogy Lake Norman is committed to providing equal employment opportunities, fostering an inclusive environment where all employees can thrive. By joining the team, the Lead Server will contribute to creating exceptional experiences that enhance the overall reputation and guest satisfaction of this premier resort community.
