Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- proven experience in team management preferably in food and beverage service
- current ServeSafe certification
- ability to lead, supervise and work effectively as part of a team
- good communication and customer service skills
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- ability to manage inventory and perform opening and closing duties
- willingness to relocate to Raleigh, NC
- ability to work full-time or part-time shifts
- must be 18 years or older
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in team management preferably in a food and beverage service setting
- strong understanding of retail math and POS systems
- knowledge of food and beverage management practices and procedures including ServeSafe food safety practices and procedures with current certification
- ability to lead by example and motivate team members
- experience in training development and coaching techniques
Job Duties
- Manage and lead a team of associates to meet sales goals and provide exceptional customer service
- lead, supervise and maintain restaurant standards to enhance customer satisfaction
- monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory control procedures
- train, develop, and coach team members to improve their skills and performance
- conduct recruiting activities to build a strong team
- greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- take drink and food orders and provide recommendations based on customer preferences
- prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and menu items in a fast manner
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- maintain cleanliness and organization of stations/sections
- handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash drawer
- monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices
- collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders
- oversee and assist with opening and closing duties as required
