Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • proven experience in team management preferably in food and beverage service
  • current ServeSafe certification
  • ability to lead, supervise and work effectively as part of a team
  • good communication and customer service skills
  • ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • ability to manage inventory and perform opening and closing duties
  • willingness to relocate to Raleigh, NC
  • ability to work full-time or part-time shifts
  • must be 18 years or older

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in team management preferably in a food and beverage service setting
  • strong understanding of retail math and POS systems
  • knowledge of food and beverage management practices and procedures including ServeSafe food safety practices and procedures with current certification
  • ability to lead by example and motivate team members
  • experience in training development and coaching techniques

Job Duties

  • Manage and lead a team of associates to meet sales goals and provide exceptional customer service
  • lead, supervise and maintain restaurant standards to enhance customer satisfaction
  • monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory control procedures
  • train, develop, and coach team members to improve their skills and performance
  • conduct recruiting activities to build a strong team
  • greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • take drink and food orders and provide recommendations based on customer preferences
  • prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and menu items in a fast manner
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of stations/sections
  • handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash drawer
  • monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices
  • collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders
  • oversee and assist with opening and closing duties as required
