Job Requirements

  • Able to lift 50+lbs without restrictions
  • the ability to stand and/or bend for extended periods of time to perform essential job functions
  • must be available to work early mornings, weekends and some holidays
  • thoroughly follow company procedures according to health and safety standards and adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • 2 years of professional pastry experience preferred
  • experience with laminated dough required
  • experience with mixing, creams, chocolate, proofing, and baking laminated dough
  • basic math skills
  • highly honed sense of urgency
  • excellent time management skills

Job Duties

  • Lamination of croissant dough from start to finish
  • making a variety of creams and fillings
  • observe and maintain the quality of products being laminated and adjust methods to maintain the best possible product
  • scaling of ingredients, mixing, and prep work
  • checking the quality of raw materials to ensure that standards and specifications are met
  • follow portion standards
  • monitor inventory of ingredients for production
  • properly label and store ingredients
  • maintain a clean and orderly station and adhere to health and safety standards
