Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum five years mechanical engineering experience
  • Minimum four years supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience in hospitality preferred
  • Universal refrigerant certification as required by the EPA
  • Journeyman certification preferred
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required
  • Material handling equipment certification as required

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, a related Engineering field or equivalent additional experience within a Facility Engineering Structure
  • A minimum of five years Mechanical Engineering experience required with a minimum of four years supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience in hospitality preferred
  • Universal refrigerant certification as required by the EPA
  • Journeyman certification preferred
  • Valid Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record required
  • Material Handling Equipment certification as required (may vary by property)

Job Duties

  • Support the DOE/ADOE Mechanical & Elect in leading the maintenance and repair of all electrical controls, pools, HVAC, kitchen mechanics and refrigeration
  • Monitor the performance of all Engineering staff
  • Manage the cogeneration, energy management and mechanical systems to maximize utility savings
  • Develop and implement training for the Mechanical Engineering staff
  • Ensure that all staff members can properly operate area related systems
  • Monitor work orders and preventative maintenance to ensure that work is properly complete and reported
  • Perform routine inspections and ensure that preventative maintenance programs are carried out
  • Ensure that the Mechanical Engineering staff is in compliance with OSHA regulations, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and safety precautions
  • Serve as the Manager on Duty (MOD) for the entire Engineering division
  • Perform other duties as assigned
