Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum five years mechanical engineering experience
- Minimum four years supervisory experience preferred
- Experience in hospitality preferred
- Universal refrigerant certification as required by the EPA
- Journeyman certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required
- Material handling equipment certification as required
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, a related Engineering field or equivalent additional experience within a Facility Engineering Structure
- A minimum of five years Mechanical Engineering experience required with a minimum of four years supervisory experience preferred
- Experience in hospitality preferred
- Universal refrigerant certification as required by the EPA
- Journeyman certification preferred
- Valid Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record required
- Material Handling Equipment certification as required (may vary by property)
Job Duties
- Support the DOE/ADOE Mechanical & Elect in leading the maintenance and repair of all electrical controls, pools, HVAC, kitchen mechanics and refrigeration
- Monitor the performance of all Engineering staff
- Manage the cogeneration, energy management and mechanical systems to maximize utility savings
- Develop and implement training for the Mechanical Engineering staff
- Ensure that all staff members can properly operate area related systems
- Monitor work orders and preventative maintenance to ensure that work is properly complete and reported
- Perform routine inspections and ensure that preventative maintenance programs are carried out
- Ensure that the Mechanical Engineering staff is in compliance with OSHA regulations, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and safety precautions
- Serve as the Manager on Duty (MOD) for the entire Engineering division
- Perform other duties as assigned
