We are currently seeking a professional line cook to join our growing team in Park City, Utah. This is a full-time position within the hospitality and retail sector, offering a competitive salary range of $19.18 to $29.38 per hour, dependent on various factors such as education, experience, and geographic location. The role demands a high level of organization, cleanliness, and efficiency to deliver exceptional culinary experiences in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong culinary skills, including proficiency in grilling, deep frying, roasting, searing, and knife handling, alongside a commitment to meeting food safety and sanitation standards.
The line cook will be responsible for executing the pastry, bread, and pasta programs with precision, preparing hot and cold foods according to detailed recipes, and ensuring outstanding plate presentation in line with restaurant specifications. Communication is key in this role, as the line cook will serve as an expeditor (Expo) by coordinating service, managing kitchen workflows, and liaising with sous chefs, chef de cuisines, executive chefs, and management to address any operational needs or challenges promptly.
Additional responsibilities include taking charge of the line and prep teams to maintain productivity, managing labor costs effectively during slow periods, assisting in ordering products, organizing storage areas, and assigning cleaning projects. The candidate must adhere strictly to company policies and procedures while maintaining excellent hygiene and grooming standards. This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds regularly.

Job Duties
- Responsible for pastry, bread, and pasta program preparation and execution
- Responsible for preparation of all hot & cold restaurant foods, meeting specifications and guaranteeing appropriate attention to detail with plate presentation
- Display ability to expedite service and work as expo with strong communication skills
- Show strong proficiency with basic line skills including grilling, deep frying, roasting, searing, and knife skills
- Able to work in any position on the line and show willingness to do so
- Display ability to take detailed instructions from sous chefs, chef de cuisines, and executive chef
- Able to read and execute core recipes
- Responsible for keeping line and prep teams on task and managing labor costs during slow periods
- Assist sous chef in ordering product, organizing storage, and assigning cleaning projects
- Properly label and date all products for safekeeping and sanitation
- Work as a team and communicate effectively with leads, sous chefs, executive chef, and management
- Follow company policies and procedures
