Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year prior line cook experience
- Kitchen leadership experience preferred
- Food handlers certified
- Minimum age 18 years
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Effective communication with guests, team members and management
- Ability to work around hot equipment, bend, reach, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods
- Availability to attend open interviews Monday or Wednesday from 4-6pm
- Ability to work night shifts (required) and day shifts (preferred)
- Ability to commute to Portland, OR 97266
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience as a line cook
- Kitchen leadership experience preferred
- Food handlers certification required
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Prep and cook all menu items according to recipes and standards
- Meet sanitation standards and assist with daily and weekly cleaning
- Work with the service team to ensure food is accurate and delivered timely
- Properly and safely operate kitchen equipment
- Maintain a clean and stocked station before, during and after each shift
- Prep and execute a variety of catering menus for holiday, corporate and youth events
- Lead and coordinate with kitchen team to maintain quality and efficiency
