Job Duties
- Leading the hotline station and ensuring quality, accuracy, and speed during service
- managing high-volume ticket orders while maintaining attention to detail and presentation
- interacting with customers when needed, especially during open-kitchen service environments
- being the first in the kitchen each day, responsible for opening duties and getting breakfast service prepped and started on time
- maintaining a clean and organized station while upholding food safety and sanitation standards
- supporting the team by providing direction and stepping in where needed during peak hours
- receiving and preparing food orders for staff, visitors, and catering events using culinary skills
- mastering short-order cooking techniques to create delicious menu items
- ensuring all food is produced in a high-quality, timely, and consistent manner
- developing rapport with customers while upholding company values
- motivating team members with leadership and supervisory skills
- setting up and stocking the grill station with necessary supplies
- handling, storing, and rotating all products properly
- cooking and prepping menu items cooperatively with kitchen staff
- following proper techniques and presentation for all dishes
- practicing correct food handling and storage procedures
- maintaining positive and professional communication and conduct
- reporting unsafe working conditions and operational needs to management
