We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen during service hours. The Lead Line Cook will be responsible for overseeing all line operations, ensuring the preparation and execution of menu items with consistency, precision, and attention to detail. This position demands a leader who can work efficiently under pressure while maintaining exceptional food quality and presentation standards. You will be expected to mentor and train junior line cooks and prep staff, helping to develop their skills and maintain kitchen efficiency.
In addition to leading the kitchen line during service, the Lead Line Cook will be responsible for enforcing proper food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures to uphold health and safety regulations. Inventory control and prep planning will also be part of your duties to ensure operational readiness and minimize waste through effective portion control. Communication with front-of-house staff regarding ticket times and service flow is essential to maintain a seamless dining experience for our guests.
The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience as a line cook, preferably with previous leadership responsibilities. Knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume environment is critical.
