Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 3 years of culinary or food preparation experience
- ability to work day and weekend shifts
- physical ability to stand, sit, walk for extended periods
- capability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds
- no supervisory experience required
- willingness to adhere to safety and security policies
- availability for full-time, non-management position
Job Qualifications
- Technical, trade, or vocational school degree
- at least 3 years of related work experience
- ability to follow recipes and quality standards
- familiarity with food safety regulations
- strong communication skills
- teamwork and cooperation
Job Duties
- Prepare special meals or substitute items
- regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
- pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator
- ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish
- maintain food logs
- monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared
- communicate assistance needed during busy periods
