Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3 years of culinary or food preparation experience
  • ability to work day and weekend shifts
  • physical ability to stand, sit, walk for extended periods
  • capability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds
  • no supervisory experience required
  • willingness to adhere to safety and security policies
  • availability for full-time, non-management position

Job Qualifications

  • Technical, trade, or vocational school degree
  • at least 3 years of related work experience
  • ability to follow recipes and quality standards
  • familiarity with food safety regulations
  • strong communication skills
  • teamwork and cooperation

Job Duties

  • Prepare special meals or substitute items
  • regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
  • pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator
  • ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish
  • maintain food logs
  • monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared
  • communicate assistance needed during busy periods
