The company prioritizes a positive work culture where teamwork, training, and employee development play key roles in sustaining success and growth within the hospitality industry. With a firm understanding of industry regulations and best practices, the company seeks a Lead Kitchen professional who can uphold and enhance these values.
The Lead Kitchen position is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations to ensure smooth workflows and impeccable cleanliness standards. This role is not only about managing day-to-day production but also about fostering a well-trained, engaged team who consistently adhere to proper sanitation protocols and maintain pristine work areas. The Lead Kitchen will collaborate closely with the management team to manage budgets, control inventory, participate in recruitment, training, and staff evaluations, and ensure compliance with federal and state health and safety laws as well as company policies.
An ideal candidate for this position will bring a blend of culinary knowledge, practical leadership experience, and a keen understanding of financial management aspects within a restaurant or food service context. Candidates are expected to have at least a high school diploma or equivalency, supplemented by culinary training or related coursework, along with a minimum of one year of experience in a restaurant or similar hospitality environment. Preference will be given to applicants with prior supervisory or management experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service roles.
