The role offered is for providing operational support to the restaurant management team. This position is a key supervisory role during the restaurant’s non-peak hours and as needed, to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations. The primary responsibility is to maintain the high standards of brand and Pilot Travel Centers (PTC) restaurant operations, ensuring that both customer experience and operational efficiency are optimized. Responsibilities include executing shift plans, following up on assigned tasks, and assisting the management team whenever necessary. The person in this role will also work in hourly positions occasionally to provide hands-on support and leadership. Monitoring food preparation, register procedures, cash handling policies, labor usage, and break policies are crucial parts of this job to maintain compliance and operational standards. The role requires a focus on hospitality and speed of service (SOS) goals, adhering to cleanliness and safety standards, and ensuring all team members follow dress code and maintenance procedures. Additionally, it involves training and cross-training team members, advising the General Manager on performance and disciplinary issues, and ensuring compliance with marketing and product standards to keep offerings fresh and appealing.
