The role entails handling food ordering, receiving, and storage, managing food safety and cleanliness, setting up serving lines, and delivering meals for classrooms, staff, or catered events as needed.

In addition, the Lead Food Service Worker manages point-of-sale (POS) cash handling duties, ensuring transactions are accurate and deposits are correctly made. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, a 401K plan with company match, paid time off, and a positive work environment where your contribution truly matters.

Working in this role also means embracing the physical demands of the job, such as standing for extended periods, walking, lifting up to 40 pounds, and working in various temperature environments including hot kitchens and cold storage. The Lead Food Service Worker must be able to communicate effectively in English, demonstrate reliability, a positive attitude, and foster a strong team spirit.
