This opening presents a remarkable opportunity to join the esteemed opening team as the Pre-Opening Executive Chef at an iconic property located in the heart of Downtown Indianapolis. In this leadership role, you will have the critical responsibility of defining the culinary direction for the hotel, which features seven unique dining venues and an expansive 100,000 square feet of vibrant banquet and event space. As the Executive Chef, you will spearhead the creation and execution of innovative, imaginative menus that embody the elegance and brand values of Signia by Hilton, ensuring every dish and dining experience reflects exceptional quality and creativity.
Entrusted with overseeing all culinary operations, the Executive Chef will direct the preparation of every meal served, uphold rigorous food quality and presentation standards, and guarantee compliance with all safety and sanitation protocols. This position requires developing and implementing policies to control costs and enhance profitability while fostering a culture of culinary excellence. Beyond daily kitchen management, the role involves substantial leadership duties including recruiting, training, and motivating a high-performing culinary team to deliver unparalleled guest experiences.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Director of Food and Beverage to align culinary innovations with guest preferences and current market trends, ensuring the property stays ahead in delivering memorable and trend-conscious dishes. Engaging directly with guests and clients to gather feedback and evaluate satisfaction trends is another vital component of this role. The Executive Chef will also manage administrative aspects such as budgeting, forecasting, and departmental reporting, ensuring operational efficiency and financial health.
Hilton emphasizes core values including hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and a proactive sense of urgency in service operations. Candidates suited for this role will exhibit not only culinary mastery but also strong leadership qualities, adaptability, dependability, and a customer-centric approach. This is a transformational career opportunity to launch and establish a premier culinary program from inception and shape the hospitality landscape in a dynamic downtown environment.
Joining Hilton as the Pre-Opening Executive Chef means becoming part of a respected legacy of hospitality excellence while benefiting from an award-winning workplace culture. Eligible team members access a comprehensive benefits package designed to support work-life balance, career growth, and long-term financial security.
