GE Aerospace fosters a dynamic and inclusive work environment, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, and offering robust career development opportunities, competitive compensation, and comprehensive benefits to its employees.
In the role of Global Events Manager within the GE Aerospace Global Events team, you will play a critical part in representing the company by leading a diverse portfolio of strategic customer and executive events worldwide. This team specializes in managing conferences, meetings, and tradeshows with an emphasis on leveraging project management and event planning expertise to create world-class experiences that align with the company’s brand and business goals. Reporting to the Head of Events, you will be entrusted with end-to-end responsibility for executing events that strengthen customer relationships, elevate GE Aerospace's market presence, and support key commercial and strategic initiatives. The role requires a seasoned event management professional who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment and can drive both the strategic and tactical aspects of global events.
The position of Global Events Manager involves leading Tier 2 and Tier 3 global conferences and events, primarily targeting external customers, ensuring that each event fulfills its objectives through meticulous planning, logistics coordination, vendor management, and on-site leadership. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, communications, finance, sourcing, and legal to ensure every event reflects the company’s brand standards and compliance policies. Managing comprehensive budgets, negotiating with vendors, creating optimized event agendas, and monitoring real-time event delivery are key aspects of this role. Your ability to engage and influence stakeholders at senior levels, coordinate with internal and external partners, and apply data-driven insights for continuous improvement will be essential to your success.
This role demands substantial experience in managing large and complex events globally, along with the flexibility to travel up to 50 percent, including international trips and occasional weekends or extended hours. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strategic thinking, operational excellence, interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. With a salary range of $98,000 to $131,000 and eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus, this position offers both financial rewards and the chance to make a significant impact within a globally respected aerospace company. GE Aerospace supports its employees through comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, retirement savings plans, paid leave, and professional development programs, fostering an environment that values health, wellbeing, and career growth.
