Job Description
Acosta Group is a leading sales and marketing agency specializing in connecting consumer brands with their customers through effective and engaging retail experiences. The company is well-known for driving retail growth and brand visibility by offering a comprehensive range of field marketing solutions. Acosta Group’s Product Connections team focuses specifically on creating memorable in-store activations, product demonstrations, and consumer interactions that generate meaningful brand engagement and increase sales conversions. Operating as a global agency, Acosta Group emphasizes inclusive culture, career development, and innovative retail marketing strategies that help propel their clients to success in competitive retail environments.
The role of Lead Event Specialist (Part-Time) within Acosta Group’s Product Connections team is crucial in bridging the gap between brands and consumers on the retail floor. This position goes beyond traditional product sampling — it requires an onsite expert who orchestrates high-quality events that are designed to engage shoppers and drive purchasing decisions. You will take leadership in overseeing event logistics and supporting your team, especially acting as the primary point of contact when the supervisor is offsite. The role demands a dynamic individual who thrives in fast-paced retail settings, has a passion for food and customer service, and values teamwork and professionalism.
As a Lead Event Specialist, your responsibilities extend to managing the setup, execution, and breakdown of event stations while adhering to strict safety and sanitation protocols. You will demonstrate products with enthusiasm and expertise, preparing various food items using small kitchen appliances, fryers, and other tools safely and efficiently. Your ability to communicate product benefits clearly will foster positive consumer experiences and boost brand loyalty. Additionally, you will mentor fellow event specialists by sharing product knowledge and best practices, nurturing a collaborative atmosphere on-site.
This role offers continuous personal and professional growth opportunities within a supportive agency environment, including developing leadership and management skills. Competitive hourly pay paired with steady part-time scheduling provides financial stability while allowing flexibility. Being part of Acosta Group’s network also means accessing valuable employee resources and support systems designed to enhance job performance and career advancement. Whether you are passionate about food, retail marketing, or customer engagement, the Lead Event Specialist role presents a unique, rewarding career path that combines brand advocacy with hands-on event coordination.
