Job Description

Acosta Group is a leading sales and marketing agency specializing in consumer goods, dedicated to helping brands connect effectively with retailers and shoppers. With a robust network and a global presence, Acosta Group excels in delivering innovative retail solutions that drive sales and enhance brand presence. Their Product Connections team focuses on creating memorable in-store experiences that engage customers and promote product awareness. Known for fostering career development and providing supportive work environments, Acosta Group offers opportunities for individuals passionate about retail marketing, brand advocacy, and customer engagement to build rewarding careers.

The role of Lead Event Specialist (Part-Time) with Acosta Group's Product Connections team is a dynamic and integral position that extends far beyond simple product sampling. This role acts as a crucial link between brands and shoppers, where the specialist is responsible for executing professional and impactful product demonstrations to boost sales on-site. The Lead Event Specialist embodies both a customer-facing brand ambassador and a behind-the-scenes coordinator, orchestrating all aspects of in-store event logistics to ensure the highest quality experience. While the primary focus centers on engaging and educating consumers through interactive demonstrations, this role also requires leadership skills, particularly when the event supervisor is offsite. You will oversee the setup, breakdown, and sanitation of event stations and equipment, manage inventory and supplies efficiently, and serve as the main point of contact for store management and team members during events.

This position requires a strong passion for food, customer service, and retail environments, providing an exciting mix of brand advocacy and team leadership in a fast-paced setting. You will prepare and showcase food products using various cooking appliances while adhering to strict safety protocols and handle all documentation related to events through digital systems, ensuring accurate reporting and effective communication. As a Lead Event Specialist, you will also mentor fellow team members, sharing best practices in product knowledge and customer engagement to uplift the overall event quality. Moreover, building professional relationships with store personnel and clients is essential for smooth event execution and long-term success.

This part-time role offers competitive hourly pay with steady scheduling, allowing flexibility without compromising career growth opportunities. Working with Acosta Group provides exposure to some of the world's leading consumer goods brands and insights into modern retail marketing strategies. The company prides itself on its inclusive culture, career advancement support, and accommodations for applicants with disabilities. If you thrive in a lively, retail-based role where creativity meets leadership and you want to play a pivotal role in connecting brands with consumers, this Lead Event Specialist position offers a unique and rewarding career path.
