Job Description

Nike, a global leader in athletic footwear, apparel, and equipment, operates with a mission to bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete in the world. The company fosters a dynamic and inclusive work environment, emphasizing creativity, collaboration, and high performance. Nike's PHK campus stands as a vibrant hub for corporate and cultural events, driving engagement and community connection among employees and stakeholders. Through its commitment to excellence and innovation, Nike continues to shape the future of sports and lifestyle industries worldwide.

The Event Professional role at Nike's PHK campus is a critical position responsible for leading and managing high-level events that align with the company’s strategic objectives and cultural values. This role requires an experienced individual who excels at event planning, client relationship management, and project execution. As the primary client-facing contact, you will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key business partners, ensuring seamless communication and coordination throughout the event lifecycle. Your responsibilities will encompass long-term event planning, considering partner program schedules, space allocations, and logistical needs to ensure flawless delivery.

In this role, you will be the cornerstone of event operations, leading collaborations with internal teams, suppliers, and various business functions to orchestrate impactful and memorable events. You are expected to have a calm demeanor under pressure, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive ownership mindset that drives projects to successful outcomes. Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as the role may require working outside regular hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, to meet the dynamic demands of event schedules.

Additionally, the Event Professional oversees budget management, monitoring expenditures at both the event and program levels to ensure accurate forecasting and financial control. You will lead a team, aligning resources and clarifying roles to foster a cohesive and efficient event delivery process. Onsite management and troubleshooting during events will be part of your core duties, guaranteeing that all details—from attendee counts and catering orders to safety and risk mitigation—are meticulously handled.

The position also involves managing special requests, coordinating off-campus logistics such as hotel accommodations, transportation, group dining, and team-building activities. You will need to respond promptly and effectively to any changes in event scope or requirements, demonstrating agility and problem-solving expertise.

Nike values diversity and inclusion, providing accommodations during the interview process to ensure an accessible experience for all candidates, including those with disabilities. This role offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to be part of a leading global brand and make a significant impact on the company's internal and external event experiences. Joining Nike means embracing a culture of innovation, teamwork, and continuous growth, where your contributions help power the global sports community.
