Job Requirements

High school diploma/GED or equivalent
2+ years of commercial driving experience in foodservice distribution or related industry
Valid CDL A
Must be 21 years of age
Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable
Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
Pass pre-employment drug test
Pass road test
Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card

Job Qualifications

High school diploma/GED or equivalent
2+ years of commercial driving experience in foodservice distribution or related industry
Internal candidates must be in good performance standing
Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills
Valid CDL A
Must be 21 years of age
Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable
Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
Pass pre-employment drug test
Pass road test
Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card

Job Duties

Perform all required safety checks including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation regulations
Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
Assist in day-to-day oversight of all assigned drivers to ensure safe and timely delivery of all customer orders
Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight and complete required paperwork
Drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule
Unload products from the trailer and transport items into designated customer storage areas, verify delivery and obtain proper signatures
Ensure that tractor, trailer and freight are properly locked and secured at all times
