Job Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent
  • 2+ years of commercial driving experience in foodservice distribution or related industry
  • Valid CDL A
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass pre-employment drug test
  • Pass road test
  • Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent
  • 2+ years of commercial driving experience in foodservice distribution or related industry
  • Internal candidates must be in good performance standing
  • Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid CDL A
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass pre-employment drug test
  • Pass road test
  • Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card

Job Duties

  • Perform all required safety checks including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation regulations
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
  • Assist in day-to-day oversight of all assigned drivers to ensure safe and timely delivery of all customer orders
  • Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight and complete required paperwork
  • Drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule
  • Unload products from the trailer and transport items into designated customer storage areas, verify delivery and obtain proper signatures
  • Ensure that tractor, trailer and freight are properly locked and secured at all times
