Central Oregon Community College is currently seeking a full-time Lead Dishroom team member to join the Sodexo staff onsite. This position offers a pay range of $19.00 to $20.00 per hour and requires open availability across any shift. The Lead Dishroom serves a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, contributing to the overall hygiene and operational effectiveness of the dining service. As a Lead Dishroom, you will be responsible for not only ensuring cleanliness and organization but also acting as a safety leader who supports your coworkers in maintaining a healthy workplace environment.

Job Duties

  • Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment
  • Ensure the dishroom and equipment are clean and organized

  • Assign and oversee dishroom activities as a lead
  • Promote a safe and healthy working environment
  • Support and train other dishroom staff
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on client and business needs
