Founded with a mission to provide fresh, high-quality groceries and exceptional customer service, Harmons has grown into a trusted name in the retail grocery industry. The company operates multiple stores that emphasize cleanliness, safety, and a positive shopping experience for every customer. Harmons is dedicated to fostering a supportive work environment where employees can thrive, grow their skills, and contribute to the store's success. As an employer, Harmons values diversity, equity, and inclusion, and encourages team members to bring their unique perspectives and strengths to the workplace. This full-time position offers competitive pay ranging from $15.00 to $18.50 per hour and requires open availability, including weekends and holidays, to ensure optimal store operations and customer satisfaction.
The role of Maintenance Associate Supervisor at Harmons is vital in maintaining the store's high standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and safety throughout the premises. This position is designed for an individual who is passionate about ensuring a clean and safe environment that enhances the customer experience. The Maintenance Associate Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the deep cleaning activities across various departments, making sure these tasks do not disrupt customer service. Additionally, this role involves creating detailed and efficient cleaning plans tailored to the needs of the store and training new maintenance associates to uphold Harmons’ rigorous standards.
Key responsibilities include conducting routine safety walks of the store to identify and rectify potential hazards, assisting both customers and associates with any maintenance-related issues, and delivering exceptional customer service at all times. The supervisor will manage cleaning schedules, oversee sanitation of restrooms and other high-contact areas, and ensure that all maintenance closets and mechanical rooms are well organized. This leadership role also includes mentoring maintenance staff, providing honest and constructive feedback, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
The position requires a candidate who is self-directed, with strong communication skills and a positive attitude. The ideal candidate should be mission-driven and dedicated to working collaboratively with team members and customers alike. Physical demands are an important aspect of this role as the work involves standing, walking, bending, lifting objects up to 50 pounds, and exposure to various environmental conditions such as chemicals and slippery surfaces. Harmons is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
Overall, the Maintenance Associate Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring that Harmons continues to provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone who visits or works at the store. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a dedicated team that values excellence, integrity, and community, while also offering competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.
