Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience supervising line cooks and running day-to-day kitchen operations
- strong food safety knowledge
- calm under pressure
- ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- Food Handler's Card required

- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a professional kitchen setting
- strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and temperature control
- ability to lead and motivate others in a high-volume production environment
- excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- Food Handler's Card required
- ServeSafe Certification preferred
- experience in senior living or healthcare food service a plus
Job Duties
- Supervise daily kitchen operations and provide hands-on leadership to the cook team
- ensure food is prepared, cooked, and served safely and according to recipe and presentation standards
- assist with inventory management, prep tracking, and daily production schedules
- train, support, and mentor line and prep cooks to maintain consistency and quality
- uphold proper food hygiene, sanitation, and temperature control procedures
- support event catering and special functions with professionalism and efficiency
- act as the kitchen lead in the absence of the Executive Chef or Kitchen Supervisor
