We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. In this leadership role, you will be at the forefront of meal preparation, ensuring every dish we serve meets our high standards for taste, presentation, and safety. The Lead Cook plays a critical role in managing daily kitchen operations, including scheduling and assigning tasks, training and guiding staff, and maintaining strict adherence to food safety protocols. This position requires a hands-on cooking expert who is comfortable working independently and as part of a team, with a strong understanding of food preparation principles and cooking methods.

As the Lead Cook, you will prepare food using standard recipes and production guidelines, skillfully handling knives and various kitchen utensils to prepare and present meals attractively and accurately. You will also be responsible for setting up the workstation with all necessary ingredients and equipment for efficient cooking, measuring and mixing ingredients precisely, and ensuring the safe storage and sanitation of all food and tools. Your leadership will extend to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen workspace and ensuring all team members follow food safety and sanitation regulations.

The role demands physical stamina, including the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods during busy service hours. You will be provided with appropriate uniforms and personal protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment. In addition to culinary skills, strong communication abilities are essential for effectively training staff and delivering exceptional customer service to both guests and coworkers.
