Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years of food service or restaurant experience
  • high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • ability to work flexible schedules including early morning, afternoons, and weekends
  • basic knowledge of food safety standards
  • capability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift moderate weights
  • effective communication skills
  • willingness to work in a team-oriented environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • minimum of two years of food service or restaurant experience
  • experience in commercial or institutional food service is a plus
  • experience in assisted living, long-term care, hospital, or healthcare environments preferred
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • ability to work flexible shifts including weekends

Job Duties

  • Cook and provide healthy, nutritious, and attractive meals for residents
  • work closely with the Dining Supervisor to ensure optimal daily operations
  • order food and supplies and verify invoices
  • assist with training new staff
  • serve as Acting Dining Supervisor during supervisor absences
  • maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • collaborate with dietary team and other departments to support residents' well-being
