Job Requirements

Minimum two years of food service or restaurant experience
high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
ability to work flexible schedules including early morning, afternoons, and weekends
basic knowledge of food safety standards
capability to stand for long periods
ability to lift moderate weights
effective communication skills
willingness to work in a team-oriented environment

Job Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
minimum of two years of food service or restaurant experience
experience in commercial or institutional food service is a plus
experience in assisted living, long-term care, hospital, or healthcare environments preferred
ServSafe certification preferred
strong organizational and communication skills
ability to work flexible shifts including weekends

Job Duties

Cook and provide healthy, nutritious, and attractive meals for residents
work closely with the Dining Supervisor to ensure optimal daily operations
order food and supplies and verify invoices
assist with training new staff
serve as Acting Dining Supervisor during supervisor absences
maintain a safe and clean working environment
collaborate with dietary team and other departments to support residents' well-being
