Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
  • valid food handler’s permit or willingness to obtain
  • strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience as a line cook or similar role
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to follow recipes and portion controls
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • culinary training or certification preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • prepare meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment
  • comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies
  • stock and maintain sufficient food levels at line stations
  • portion food products according to recipes
  • maintain a clean and sanitary work station area
  • assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods
  • close kitchen properly following closing checklist
  • attend team meetings and trainings
  • perform other duties such as dishwashing and bussing as assigned
