Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of four years progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club, hotel, or cruise line environment
  • ServeSafe certification or willingness to obtain within the three-month introductory period
  • experienced in all cooking stations and methods

Job Duties

  • prepare meals and follow established recipes
  • support kitchen staff and ensure smooth meal service operations
  • assist in training and development of line cooks and prep staff
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations
  • monitor food quality and portion control
  • comply with food safety and sanitation standards
  • collaborate with culinary team to incorporate seasonal trends and menu adjustments
