Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- 2+ years experience in high-volume food service
- 1+ year experience/exposure to menu research and development
- knowledge of culinary terms and practices
- ability to work efficiently under pressure
- HACCP knowledge
- strong attention to detail
- capable of managing multiple tasks
- self-motivated and team-oriented
- physically capable of lifting up to 30 pounds
- flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
- minimum high school diploma or GED required
- at least 2 years experience in high-volume food service
- minimum 1 year exposure to menu research and development
- reliable, quality-conscious, and safety-oriented worker
- strong culinary knowledge of terms, procedures, and practices
- ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
- flexibility to perform tasks independently or as part of a team
- knowledge of HACCP standards
- excellent attention to detail
- ability to manage heavy workloads
- self-organized and capable of independent and team work
- accurate monitoring of food wastage

Job Duties
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and prepare menus tailored for airline customers and in-flight dining
- lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff ensuring smooth operations and compliance with food safety standards
- prepare gourmet meals with attention to detail in presentation and flavor
- implement and maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and taste
- monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering kitchen supplies
- train and mentor cooks to enhance culinary skills
- adhere to safety and sanitation regulations maintaining a clean work environment
- collaborate with procurement and logistics to ensure timely delivery of ingredients
- stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into menu creations
- manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines
