- Previous experience in food service and cooking required
- Prior healthcare experience preferred but not required

Job Duties
- Provide assistance to the Nutrition Services Manager in kitchen oversight
- Prepare, season, and cook food for patients, staff, and visitors
- Enforce healthcare kitchen sanitation standards and practice proper hand hygiene
- Participate in onboarding and training of new dietary staff
- Manage menu substitutions and develop dietary team decision-making
- Oversee inventory control, place orders, and maintain organized storage areas
- Plan catering events and ensure completion
- Handle cash register reconciliation
- Perform cooking and dietary aide duties as needed
- Assist in menu development and recipe standardization
