Job Duties

  • Provide assistance to the Nutrition Services Manager in kitchen oversight
  • Prepare, season, and cook food for patients, staff, and visitors
  • Enforce healthcare kitchen sanitation standards and practice proper hand hygiene
  • Participate in onboarding and training of new dietary staff
  • Manage menu substitutions and develop dietary team decision-making
  • Oversee inventory control, place orders, and maintain organized storage areas
  • Plan catering events and ensure completion
  • Handle cash register reconciliation
  • Perform cooking and dietary aide duties as needed
  • Assist in menu development and recipe standardization
