This position involves preparing hot and cold menu items, including working on various stations such as the grill, saute station, salad bar, and service line. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cooking experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work weekends
- Effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in senior living preferred
- Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required

Job Duties
- Prepare hot and cold menu items which requires working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and on the service line
- Ensure the proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes
- Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen stations
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan and execute daily meal service
