Job Description

Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a renowned company specializing in providing vibrant and supportive living environments for seniors. With over 60 communities nationwide, RLC is a fast-growing, family-owned business dedicated to enhancing the lives of its residents through a resort-style atmosphere. Their mission goes beyond just offering senior living; it centers on creating a close-knit, servant-hearted community guided by core values of respect, honesty, kindness, compassion, and service excellence. At RLC, the focus is on achieving four essential goals that drive their success: happy employees, happy residents, full occupancy, and on-budget operations. These pillars ensure that each community not only thrives operationally but also fosters a warm, welcoming environment for both staff and residents alike.

The role of Lead Concierge at RLC is a pivotal position within the community’s leadership team. The Lead Concierge acts as the welcoming face of the community, responsible for greeting residents, families, and guests, and managing the front desk operations including answering phone calls promptly and courteously. This role demands exceptional customer service skills, as the Lead Concierge plays a crucial part in shaping the resident experience by creating moments of meaningful connection with everyone they interact with. As a key contributor to the culture and daily operations, the Lead Concierge supports various community initiatives and ensures that all aspects of their responsibilities contribute to a seamless, high-touch living environment.

Key responsibilities include delivering an elevated first impression through excellent interpersonal interactions, coordinating transportation services, overseeing guest suite reservations, and assisting with room service and event set-up. The role also involves maintaining safety and security within the community, responding swiftly to emergencies, and ensuring building security protocols are followed. This position requires a proactive leadership approach, participating in team meetings, providing training for new concierges, and stepping in for management when necessary.

Ideal candidates will possess strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities suitable for a fast-paced environment. Previous customer service experience is essential, alongside a professional appearance and excellent communication skills. Additional qualifications include proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of the local community, which helps enhance service delivery. The community values reliability, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset to maintain high standards and contribute positively to the resident experience.

Employment is full-time with a shift schedule of Tuesday through Saturday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. RLC offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees. Benefits include access to pay anytime, a $341 benefit stipend per pay period that can be applied toward health, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, various savings accounts (HSA, FSA, LSA), accident and hospital indemnity insurance, as well as legal and identity theft protection. Additional perks include paid time off and a 401(k) plan with employer match. Working at RLC means joining a supportive leadership team within a beautiful resort-style environment where the purpose-driven role allows you to make a difference every day, serving with heart in a workplace that feels like family.
