Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant experience in food service or hospitality
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing for long periods and working in varied temperature conditions
- Effective communication skills
- Availability to work full-time hours
- Willingness to adhere to sanitation and safety guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred
- Prior experience in coffee preparation including espresso and milk frothing techniques
- Leadership or supervisory experience in food service preferred
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and food safety practices
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Job Duties
- Ordering food and supplies
- Learning to cover all the different stations as needed to ensure a smooth-running department and cover breaks when needed
- Keeping food storage areas clean and organized per sanitation standards
- Receiving, inventorying, ordering food orders and putting them away timely per VCS standards
- Working with staff to ensure all sanitation standards are met and documented properly daily on production sheets and other logs per VCS sanitation standards
- Ability to lead Food Service Worker staff with enthusiasm and great customer service
- Being subjected to hot and cold temperatures
