Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- experience providing leadership and handling customer complaints
- understanding of company policies and multitasking
- ability to perform basic math and conduct visual inspections
- provide world class customer service
- work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- understand designated department practices
- properly use cleaning chemicals
- handle food products per laws and standards
- reach, lift, and maneuver objects up to 50 lbs frequently
- stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently
- maintain mental alertness around hazards
- understand state and federal regulations relating to certifications
- be at least 21 years old
- hold valid Food Handlers Certification

Job Duties
- assist management with store operations by performing grocery or freight clerk duties
- lead by example and assist department manager with general department operations
- answer customer questions and address complaints professionally
- perform duties of grocery clerk, cashier, and freight stocker as needed
- provide leadership and direction to assigned employees
- monitor customer traffic flow and checkout lane coverage
- maintain cleanliness and appearance of work area, storage, equipment, and retail displays
- manage employee breaks, lunches, and attendance in area of responsibility
- monitor cashier money handling and assist with scan system procedures
- stock and rotate merchandise
- ensure compliance with safety standards
- perform other related duties as assigned
