Job Requirements
- associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- two to four years of related experience and/or training
- servsafe certification
- local, state, and/or county required food handling and sanitation licenses and/or certificates
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- availability for occasional weekend and evening work
- standing and walking for extended periods
- use of sound judgment to solve moderately complex issues
- ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Job Qualifications

- leadership abilities
- effective customer service skills
- knowledge of culinary skills and food preparation principles
- creativity in recipe modification and menu development
- understanding of sanitation principles
Job Duties
- managing meal presentation and portion control for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- selecting recipes and coordinating meal prep for the following day’s menu
- creating and standardizing recipes to maintain food consistency
- conducting pre-meal meetings with food servers to discuss the daily menu
- ensuring adequate staffing during shifts and managing absences effectively
- estimating food consumption and managing inventory
- assisting with budget compliance and loss prevention procedures
- providing training for kitchen staff and coordinating special events
- upholding kitchen cleanliness and compliance with health standards
