Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 3+ years cooking experience
  • knowledge of food safety regulations
  • skills using kitchen and computer systems
  • decision-making and complaint resolution skills
  • ability to work with peers and staff
  • strong communication skills
  • problem solving in varied situations
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • able to work in smoke-filled environment
  • must pass Title 31 Training
  • ServSafe Certification required
  • able to pass background check and drug screen

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Oversees catering operations
  • assigns duties to meet department demands
  • oversee inventory management and ordering
  • utilize reservation system for timeline management and coordination
  • prepare buffet menu items according to recipes and production requirements
  • delegate tasks to catering team for meal and buffet presentation
  • follow safety, sanitation, and departmental policies
  • ensure compliance with regulations and internal protocols
  • promote outstanding customer relations
  • perform all other duties as assigned
