Job Requirements

High school diploma preferred
Minimum 2 years relevant work experience preferred
Ability to delegate, multi-task, and solve problems
Knowledge and passion for guest service and sales
Experience addressing guest concerns professionally
Proven sales achievement and training skills
Proficient with POS and Apple devices
Excellent communication skills
Strong collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Ability to build customer relationships
Flexibility and adaptability under pressure
Must be at least 18 years old
Availability to work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical ability to perform continuous mobility, frequent bending, pulling, pushing, crouching, reaching, and lifting up to 25 lbs

Job Qualifications

2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

Experience handling guest concerns professionally
Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires
Proficient with Point of Sale systems and Apple devices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Ability to react under pressure and adapt to changing situations

Job Duties

Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store's goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty (including credit), and retail shrink
Ensure that each guest receives exceptional service by providing a guest-friendly environment, including greeting and engaging each guest, personalizing service to their needs, and recommending Ulta Beauty products and/or services
Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges courteously
Pair guests with associates for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience
Book appointments and support execution of services and in-store events to deliver unrivaled guest experiences
Take ownership over replenishment, organization, and maintenance of all cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures
Support leadership team with cashier chat ins/outs and associate exit inspections
Assist in training new cashiers and cross-training other associates
Engage and influence peers to achieve productivity and performance goals
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards
Complete select register open and close functions
Maintain outstanding store standards and cleanliness
Protect company assets and minimize loss through adherence to loss prevention policies
Regularly participate in ongoing training and collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business
