Job Requirements

Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be at least 18 years of age to hold the Lead Cashier position
Ability to stand and move continuously throughout the store during shifts
Capability to bend, pull, push, crouch, stoop, twist, and reach frequently during shifts
Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs during shifts
Willingness to adhere to company dress code
Commitment to comply with Ulta Beauty’s policies and procedures
Maintain prompt and regular attendance

Job Qualifications

High school diploma preferred
2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve
Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and competency in selling
Experience addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
Demonstrated success in exceeding sales goals and training new hires
Proficiency with basic technology such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations

Job Duties

Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty including credit, and retail shrink
Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging them, personalizing service, and recommending products or services
Courteously handle sales, refunds, and exchanges
Pair guests with associates for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience
Book appointments and support in-store events to enhance guest experience and achieve sales goals
Maintain replenishment, organization, and upkeep of cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures
Support leadership with cashier chat ins and chat outs, associate exit inspections, and register open and close functions
Drive cashier accountability to deliver personalized Ulta Beauty brand experiences and adhere to company systems
Share benefits of guest loyalty programs and lead associates in promoting credit and loyalty goals
Participate in ongoing training for professional development and sales performance
Collaborate with store managers and associates to grow the business
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, dress code, and operational standards
Protect company assets by minimizing loss and following loss prevention protocols
Maintain overall store cleanliness and guest-readiness including cashwrap, salesfloor, restrooms, backroom, and break areas
Execute other operational tasks as directed by management
