Job Requirements

Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be 18 years of age or older
High school diploma preferred
Minimum two years of relevant work experience or equivalent
Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve
Strong guest service and sales competency
Proficiency with point of sale systems and Apple devices
Excellent communication skills
Ability to collaborate and build relationships
Ability to work independently and in teams
Flexibility and adaptability
Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs
Continuous mobility and frequent bending, twisting, and reaching during shifts

Job Qualifications

High school diploma preferred
Two years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and solve problems
Demonstrated passion and knowledge in guest service and selling
Experience in professionally addressing guest concerns
Proven track record in exceeding sales goals and training new hires
Proficiency with point of sale systems and Apple devices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
Ability to perform well under pressure and adapt to changes

Job Duties

Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store's goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty (including credit), and retail shrink
Ensure that each guest receives exceptional service by providing a guest-friendly environment, including greeting and engaging guests, personalizing service, and recommending products and services
Courteously handle sales, refunds, and exchanges
Pair guests with associates for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest service experience
Book appointments and support execution of services and in-store events to deliver an unrivaled guest experience
Take ownership over replenishment, organization, and maintenance of cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures
Maintain prompt, regular attendance
Contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates, peers, and guests
Support leadership by completing cashier chat ins and chat outs and associate exit inspections
Stay informed on industry trends, products, and services to better serve guests
Promote guest loyalty program benefits including credit and app usage
Assist in training new cashiers and cross-training associates
Lead and influence peers to achieve productivity and performance goals
Drive cashier accountability in delivering personalized Ulta Beauty brand experience and complying with systems prompts
Participate in ongoing brand and category education to enhance professional development
Collaborate with managers and associates to help grow the business
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards
Adhere to dress code
Ensure completion and control of all transactions including returns and associate transactions
Complete select register open and close functions
Maintain store cleanliness and standards throughout
Protect company assets by adhering to safety, inventory control, and loss prevention procedures
Execute other operational tasks as directed
