The role available at Pilot Company is designed for energetic, customer-focused individuals who will process merchandise and fuel transactions efficiently. The position involves leading a small team of one-to-two cashiers, ensuring smooth transaction flow including cash, credit, and debit payments. Employees are tasked with completing end-of-shift reports and close-out procedures while adhering to company and legal guidelines concerning the sale of restricted merchandise such as alcohol and tobacco. The role requires maintaining an organized and clean work environment and utilizing recommended selling techniques to promote products. Delivering exceptional service to every guest is a critical part of the job, along with handling guest complaints, resolving team conflicts, and communicating issues to management calmly and professionally. Scheduling breaks and team member placements during shifts are also managed by the role holder. Additionally, the position involves supporting various travel center functions, including deli maintenance, cleaning showers and restrooms, stocking shelves, and preparing coffee. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Lead a shift of one-to-two cashiers to process all types of cash, credit, and debit transactions
- Complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures
- Follow company and local guidelines with regards to the sale of any restricted merchandise items
- Maintain an organized and clean work area
- Use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products
- Ensure quality service is delivered to every guest
- Handle guest complaints and issues by following company processes and guidelines
