Job Requirements
- Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to stand and be mobile throughout shift
- Ability to frequently bend, pull, push, crouch, stoop, twist, and reach
- Capability to lift and move items up to 25 pounds
- Continuous coordination and manual manipulation capability
- High school diploma preferred
- Minimum 2 years relevant work experience preferred
- Proven multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated sales and guest service competency

- Demonstrated passion for guest service and competency in selling
- Experience handling guest concerns professionally and promptly
- Proven track record in exceeding sales goals and training new hires
- Proficiency with technology such as POS systems and Apple devices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Skilled in building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Ability to react effectively under pressure with good judgment and flexibility
Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty including credit, and retail shrink
- Ensure exceptional service by greeting and engaging each guest, personalizing service and recommending Ulta Beauty products and services
- Courteously handle sales, refunds, and exchanges
- Pair guests with associates for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales
- Book appointments and support in-store events to enhance guest experience and sales
- Take ownership of replenishment, organization, and maintenance of cashwrap displays and supplies
- Support leadership team with cashier chat ins and chat outs and associate exit inspections
- Stay informed of industry trends, products, and services and share benefits of guest loyalty programs
- Assist in training new cashiers and cross-training associates
- Engage and influence peers to achieve peak productivity and performance
- Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty policies, dress code, and cash handling procedures
- Maintain store cleanliness and protect company assets by following safety and loss prevention standards
