The Lead Beverage Bar Back plays a vital role in supporting the beverage service operations throughout the casino's various bar locations. This position is responsible for the transportation of supplies to bar backs, ensuring adequate inventory control, and maintaining a well-organized storage environment. The Lead Beverage Bar Back acts as a key liaison between management, vendors, and bar staff to guarantee that beverage operations run seamlessly and inventory pars are met consistently. The role also includes administrative responsibilities such as managing requisition forms, assisting with monthly inventories, and utilizing internal systems like the Seneca Workforce System (SWS), Microsoft Office, and BERG operations software for efficient workflow and communication.
This position demands a proactive individual capable of maintaining clean, sanitized beverage areas, including pump rooms, walk-in coolers, and all bar outlets, strictly adhering to health and sanitation guidelines set by regulatory authorities. The Lead Beverage Bar Back must demonstrate excellent organizational skills to manage stock rotation, accept and store deliveries accurately, and oversee the cleanliness of the dock and storage areas. The individual in this role will also collaborate closely with management and vendors to ensure that all beverage dispensing and machinery systems such as BERG, Pepsi, and coffee machines are fully operational and regularly maintained.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to provide exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism in interactions with patrons, supervisors, managers, and co-workers. The position also requires physical stamina and the ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting heavy loads up to 160 pounds and extensive walking and movement throughout the casino environment, which includes exposure to moderate to loud noise levels and areas where smoking is permitted.
The starting salary rate for this position is $16.00 per hour, with compensation negotiable based on experience and education. Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- possess a high school diploma or equivalency
- have minimum of three years food service experience
- have minimum of three years inventory control experience
- demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- be physically able to stand, walk, push, pull, reach, bend and lift up to 160 pounds
- able to maintain stamina and mental focus in fast-paced, noisy, and smoke-permitted environments
- willing to complete all required SGC training within nine months
- able to work flexible hours on a 24-hour schedule
- able to attend all required meetings
- maintain adherence to company policies and attendance guidelines
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Maintain adequate levels of liquor in the pump rack
- ensure pump room is clean and organized with back-up supplies
- control inventory of all liquor and maintain requisition forms
- assist with monthly inventory and communicate stock levels to management
- accept all beverage deliveries and verify order accuracy
- deliver requested supplies to bar backs at various locations including ice, beer, kegs, juices, garnishes, soda, and paper supplies
- remove empty beer bottles and trash, sort bottles, stack cases, and maintain dock area
- perform administrative duties using SWS system, Microsoft Office, and BERG operations
- maintain sanitation of beverage areas according to health guidelines
- collaborate with management and vendors to ensure BERG, Pepsi, and coffee systems are operational and schedule maintenance as needed
- adhere to information security policies of Seneca Gaming Corporation
- provide exceptional customer service with a professional attitude
