As a Lead Bartender specializing in the Sazerac cocktail, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the guest experience at The Roosevelt. This position requires a combination of expert drink preparation skills, exceptional customer service, and the ability to maintain high operational standards. You will be responsible for serving beverages and food promptly, accurately, and courteously, ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued throughout their visit. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of bartending experience, preferably in a luxury or upscale hospitality environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol legally
- Knowledge of local liquor laws and responsible serving practices
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform bar setup tasks
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness
- Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending experience in a luxury hotel or upscale bar setting
- Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes and beverage preparation techniques
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle cash and POS transactions accurately

- Basic math skills for inventory and cash handling

Job Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued
- Serve beverages and food promptly, accurately, and courteously, following standard recipes and portion control
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the beverage menu, ingredients, and other hotel outlets to confidently answer guest questions and make recommendations
- Prepare, stock, and maintain the bar, including garnishes, perishables, and supplies, based on daily projections
- Handle cash and register transactions accurately, ensuring accountabilities for all beverages served
- Check guests for proper identification and manage guest inebriation according to training and local liquor laws
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and surrounding areas, adhering to operating procedures
- Promote Hilton services and facilities to guests and suppliers
- Take personal responsibility for guest satisfaction, resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Collaborate effectively with team members, providing support and clear communication
- Follow all safety procedures and report any accidents or incidents to management
- Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by management
