The Lead Bartender role at Fargo Country Club is an essential position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bar while ensuring outstanding beverage service and hospitality standards. This role involves managing a dynamic bar team, including training and mentoring bartenders and barbacks, and fostering a positive team culture focused on professional service. Inventory management is a critical responsibility, including monitoring stock levels, controlling costs, tracking waste, and ensuring responsible alcohol service in compliance with state and club regulations. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years bartending experience
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be of legal drinking age
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • The Lead Bartender at Fargo Country Club is responsible for overseeing the bar’s daily operations, ensuring exceptional beverage service, and maintaining a high standard of hospitality for members and guests
  • This position leads the bar team, manages inventory, develops cocktail menus, and ensures adherence to club policies and service standards
  • Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Bar Operations & Service
  • Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails, wine, beer, and other beverages according to club standards
  • Ensure all drinks are made consistently and presented professionally
  • Maintain a well-stocked, clean, and organized bar area at all times
  • Engage with members and guests to provide a welcoming and personalized experience
  • Monitor and enforce responsible alcohol service according to state and club regulations
  • Leadership & Team Management
  • Train, mentor, and supervise bartenders and barbacks to uphold service standards
  • Lead by example, fostering a positive and professional team culture
  • Address any guest or staff concerns promptly and professionally
  • Menu Development & Inventory Management
