Job Description

HHM Hotels is a distinguished hospitality company known for delivering exceptional guest experiences across its diverse portfolio of hotels, restaurants, and food and beverage outlets. With a commitment to quality, sustainability, and superior service, HHM Hotels continuously strives to uphold high standards in the hospitality industry. The company takes pride in fostering an inclusive work environment that values diversity and promotes equal opportunity for all employees, ensuring a respectful workplace culture. Recognized for its dedication to excellence and innovation, HHM Hotels offers a dynamic and supportive work setting where careers can grow through well-defined pathways, from entry-level roles to managerial positions within the organization.

The Lead Bartender position at HHM Hotels is a full-time role designed for an experienced professional passionate about the food and beverage industry, particularly in bar service operations. This leadership role is pivotal in supervising and managing daily operations within the food and beverage outlets, ensuring that both service quality and guest satisfaction meet the highest standards. The Lead Bartender will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and serving of beverages and food, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations related to alcohol service. This role demands an individual who is attentive to detail, proactive in managing staff performance, and committed to sustaining a positive guest experience.

In addition to hands-on bartending duties like slicing and pitting fruit for drink garnishes and verifying customers' ages for alcohol purchases, the Lead Bartender will take charge of important supervisory functions. These include interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, coaching, and supporting bar staff to consistently perform according to HHM’s brand and service standards. The position also involves meticulous inventory control, payroll oversight, and equipment maintenance to ensure smooth operational flow. Furthermore, the Lead Bartender is tasked with monitoring guest feedback to continuously improve service quality while maintaining adherence to HHM's EarthView sustainability program and safety protocols including MSDS and OSHA standards.

HHM Hotels offers a clear career progression path for the Lead Bartender role, with opportunities to advance into positions such as Beverage or Restaurant Supervisor, Restaurant Manager, and ultimately Food and Beverage Manager. The company values development and encourages employees to take ownership of their career growth within its supportive culture. Candidates for this position should be prepared for a work schedule that varies widely, including shifts during holidays and weekends. The role is physically demanding, requiring prolonged periods of standing, walking, lifting, and other physical tasks.

If you are a motivated leader with at least one year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or banquet setting, paired with a strong background in food and beverage service at the server level, HHM Hotels invites you to apply and join their team where people are their capability and hearts that serve are celebrated. This is your chance to contribute to a reputable company that embraces diversity, excellence, and innovation in hospitality management.
