Sodexo is a global leader in quality of life services, committed to improving the everyday lives of people in the communities where it operates. Operating across a wide range of sectors including food services, facilities management, and integrated solutions, Sodexo partners with clients worldwide to create memorable experiences for customers and employees alike. Established with a strong foundation in catering to diverse industries such as corporate offices, hospitals, campuses, stadiums, and lounges, Sodexo is known for its dedication to service excellence and community development. As a reputable multinational company, Sodexo emphasizes its core values of diversity, inclusion, and respect, ensuring that every employee is treated fairly and encouraged to bring their authentic self to work. The company fosters a supportive and flexible work environment where employees have access to ongoing training, development opportunities, and comprehensive benefits to support their personal and professional growth. Sodexo is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, valuing all employees regardless of race, color, religion, gender, age, disability, or any other protected status.
The role of Lead Bartender at Sodexo, based at the Airport Dimensions-Sapphire Lounge by The Club, offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about the art of bartending to demonstrate their creativity and mixology expertise in a dynamic, customer-focused setting. This is a full-time position with a pay rate of $25 per hour, offering open availability and flexible shifts to accommodate various working hours. The Lead Bartender will be responsible for crafting classic and innovative cocktails, carefully selecting glassware, garnishing drinks, and providing patrons with knowledgeable insights into the drink menu to enhance their overall experience. This role requires maintaining a clean and well-stocked bar area, including stocking ice, beverages such as beer, wine, and liquor, slicing bar fruits, and preparing specialty mixers. Adherence to all food and beverage regulations, including verifying the age of customers, is a critical aspect of the job. Moreover, the Lead Bartender will play a supervisory role, potentially training and overseeing other bartenders or staff as directed by onsite management, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of the bar.
Working as a Lead Bartender with Sodexo means being part of a team that values attention to detail, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. The position involves both direct interaction with customers and indirect service through collaboration with waitstaff. Candidates must bring a solid foundation of experience, ideally two to three years in bartending with exposure to high-end establishments or hospitality management. Certification or licensing relevant to bartending and food service in the applicable city and state is required, while mixology training is highly desirable. Sodexo values professional growth and supports employees through access to training and advancement programs, fostering long-term career development.
Sodexo not only offers competitive pay but also a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, holidays, medical, dental, vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) plans, employee discount programs, and more. Some locations also provide additional site-specific benefits such as complimentary meals during shifts, uniforms, safety shoes, public transportation assistance, and parking accommodations. This role suits motivated individuals seeking a rewarding bartending career in a respected company dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of its employees and customers alike. Sodexo’s commitment to inclusion ensures that every team member is valued and respected, making it an ideal workplace for those who thrive in a collaborative and supportive environment.
