Job Description

Three Birds is a modern and vibrant neighborhood New American restaurant located in the Dayton area, celebrated for its chef-driven lunch and dinner menus. This establishment is the third concept from the renowned culinary group, The Idea Collective, and Executive Chef Jorge Guzman, known for his work with Sueño and Tender Mercy/Dōzo. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior bartending experience preferred
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and education
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages

Job Qualifications

  • Experience as a bartender in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting
  • Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation and bar operations
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Passion for hospitality and genuine care for guests
  • Basic knowledge of food and wine pairing is a plus
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new techniques

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails and beverages
  • Maintain a well-stocked and organized bar
  • Provide excellent customer service with warmth and professionalism
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service
  • Continuously learn and master the food menu, cocktail recipes, and wine list
  • Participate in training sessions and menu knowledge testing
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and standards
