Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol
- high school diploma or equivalent education
- three years high volume bar or food service experience
- safe server alcohol and food handlers certification
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- ability to push and pull carts and equipment up to 250 lbs
- must maintain neat clean and well-groomed appearance
- excellent communication skills
- good organizational and leadership abilities
- knowledge of Windows OS MS Office PMS and POS
- ability to work varying schedules
- compliance with company safety and operational policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- three years of high volume bar or food service experience
- at least one year of supervisory or lead bartender experience preferred
- safe server alcohol and food handlers certification required
- micros or POS system experience preferred
- excellent communication and leadership skills
- knowledge of spirits beer wine and flavor profiles
- experience in table and bar service
- basic computer and computational skills
- ability to work independently and be self-driven
Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality freshly crafted cocktails at high volume with proper technique
- take beverage and food orders at the bar
- describe menu items and suggest products to customers
- assist in directing the craft spirit wine and beer programs
- create craft cocktail and menu with emphasis on classical mixology
- work with food and beverage director to lower beverage costs by maintaining par levels and preventing spillage
- ensure proper service standards are met with commitment to guest satisfaction
- train bartending team on service standards product knowledge and technique
- ensure proper materials and supplies are available and used correctly
- prepare house made spirit infusions
- build vendor relationships and ensure bar carries high quality products
- train beverage staff on alcohol beverage control protocols and enforce policies
- perform cash credit card and room transactions as necessary
- maintain and enforce cleanliness standards of the bar
- restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- provide opening and closing inventory of spirits
- ensure liquor beer and wine products are stored securely
- participate in deep cleaning efforts and oversee safety of bar staff
- assist guests and staff professionally with high quality customer service
- ensure taps coolers and appliances are clean and functional
- verify customer identification and enforce legal drinking age compliance
- prevent service to minors and intoxicated persons
- perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor
