We are currently seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Lead Bartender to join the team at Tratto SF. This role is pivotal in ensuring the bar operates smoothly while consistently delivering high-quality beverages and exceptional service that meet the brand's standards. As a Lead Bartender, you will be entrusted with specialized responsibilities, including overseeing bar setup and inventory, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, preparing drinks according to guest preferences, and ensuring compliance with legal drinking age regulations. Additionally, you will play an essential part in guest engagement, monitoring consumption, balancing cash on hand, and leading the bartender team through effective training and system creation.

- minimum of three years in bartending or lead role
- ServSafe certified
- local knowledge of city events and culture

Job Duties
- Set up bar with appropriate levels of liquor, juices, crushes, additives, soda, etc
- ensure bar, glasses, and cutlery are clean and sanitized
- verify guests are of legal age to consume alcohol
- prepare drink orders according to bar standards and guest preferences
- engage guests and ensure satisfaction
- monitor guests for overconsumption and take necessary steps
- balance the bank on opening and closing
- create systems for everyday bar operations such as checklists
- train other bartenders
- maintain proper inventory levels of beverages, garnish, and tools
