Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years of related experience, preferably in high-end establishments or hospitality management
  • Appropriate license, certification, or permit to bartend and/or serve food as required by city and state
  • Mixology certifications or training desirable

Job Duties

  • Create classic and innovative cocktails, select appropriate glassware, garnish drinks and educate customers about the drink menu
  • Take orders and serve drinks directly or indirectly through waitstaff, assess customers’ needs and preferences to make recommendations
  • Maintain the bar area ensuring it is neat, sanitary, and well-stocked, including stocking ice, beverages, slicing bar fruit, preparing specialty mixers, cleaning glassware and utensils
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations, including age verification for alcohol purchase
  • Train and supervise employees as directed by onsite management
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs and client requirements
