The Lead Bartender position at Airport Dimensions-Sapphire Lounge by The Club is a full-time opportunity offering a competitive hourly wage of $23.69. This role requires an individual with a passion for mixology and a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service in high-end hospitality environments. The Lead Bartender will be responsible for crafting classic and innovative cocktails, maintaining an immaculate bar area, and ensuring compliance with all food and beverage regulations. This position demands creativity in beverage preparation, strong customer engagement skills, and attention to detail to enhance the patrons' experience. The availability for all shifts is required, and more detailed work schedules will be discussed during the interview process.

As the Lead Bartender, you will be instrumental in creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere within the lounge. You will work closely with management and other team members to maintain operational excellence and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include training and supervising bar staff, managing inventory and supplies, and proactively addressing any operational challenges. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years of related experience, preferably in high-end establishments or hospitality management
  • Appropriate license, certification, or permit to bartend and/or serve food as required by city and state
  • Mixology certifications or training desirable

Job Duties

  • Create classic and innovative cocktails, select appropriate glassware, garnish drinks and educate customers about the drink menu
  • Take orders and serve drinks directly or indirectly through waitstaff, assess customers’ needs and preferences to make recommendations
  • Maintain the bar area ensuring it is neat, sanitary, and well-stocked, including stocking ice, beverages, slicing bar fruit, preparing specialty mixers, cleaning glassware and utensils
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations, including age verification for alcohol purchase
  • Train and supervise employees as directed by onsite management
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs and client requirements
