They are currently seeking a Lead Barista to join their team on an hourly basis with a competitive pay rate of 17 dollars per hour. As a Lead Barista, you will assume a leadership role by supervising one or multiple concession stands during shifts. Your primary responsibility will be to lead associates in delivering excellent guest service while maintaining operational standards. You will coordinate the activities of concession associates, including training new team members, counseling, and enforcing established work procedures and service expectations. Your role includes frequent inspections of all stands to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and safety are upheld throughout operational hours. Inventory management is an essential part of the position; you will verify stock levels before and after events to prevent shortages or overstock situations. Timely and proper food preparation must be monitored closely to ensure guests receive their orders promptly and accurately. Additionally, you will evaluate and document the performance of stand attendants, providing feedback and support to help the team grow and meet performance targets. Opening and closing procedures fall under your responsibility, ensuring that the concession area is ready for business and properly secured at the end of each shift. During busy periods, you will actively assist concession associates in serving guests to maintain smooth operations. This position may include additional duties as assigned to promote an efficient and successful concession service environment. Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in foodservice position required
- Previous cash handling/cashier experience required
- Ability to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds
- Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions
- Frequently immerse hands in water, soaps and sanitizer
- May be exposed to variable temperature
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in foodservice position required
- Previous experience as a stand attendant or stand manager preferred
- Previous cash handling/cashier experience required
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
Job Duties
- Supervise and coordinate activities of concession associates on a per shift basis, including training, counseling and enforcing work procedures and service standards
- Inspect all stands and portables in the assigned area, ensuring all remain clean, sanitized, and safe
- Analyze and resolve all problems with associates, guests, and the operation with the assistance of management as needed
- Verify stand inventories before and after each event, and as assigned
- Verify food preparation for timeliness, and proper quantities
- Evaluate and document performance of stand attendants
- Perform opening and closing procedures for assigned area
- Assist concession associates in serving guests as business levels demand
- Perform other duties as assigned
